All bedrooms at Lantern Cottage are fitted to a high standard with top quality beds, bedding and furnishings.

The bedrooms have a flat screen TV/DVD with freeview digital services, plus a hostess tray with tea & coffee making facilities. There is also an elegant sitting room for guests’ use complete with 28” TV. All bedrooms are non-smoking rooms.

The Cream Room (Double en-suite)

This room is elegantly furnished, having been refurbished (July 2010). There is a brand new Laura Ashley ‘Rosalind’ suite of furniture, including a King size (5’) bed with a new staples pocket sprung Deauville mattress for your comfort. The dressing table, bedside tables and wardrobe provide additional storage space.

The shower, WC, sink and towel rail in the private en-suite bathroom are fitted out in Antique Gold from the Heritage range.

The Lavender Room (single occupancy)

Bathroom adjacent to room (option to book as a private bathroom)

This room overlooks the garden and has a 3’ single divan bed with a sleepeezee pocket sprung mattress and a suite of beech furniture (dressing table with mirror) and bookcase. There is ample storage space in the chest of drawers and wardrobe for your belongings as well as an armchair and foot stool for additional seating/comfort.

The Amber Room

This room is best described as ‘bijou’! Despite it’s small size, which is reflected by a lower room rate, this room does benefit from good storage facilities with a desk, chair and double wardrobe. The 3’ single bed has a very comfortable pocket sprung mattress.

The bathroom is only a few steps away with: Jacuzzi Bath/ and ‘drench’ shower combination
