A23 Going South
A23 turn left at Pyecombe, signposted to Hassocks, on to the A273 follow the road until you go over a hill and down the other side (about 1.5 miles). At the bottom of the hill take the 2nd right on to the B2112, New Road, signposted to Ditchling after approx ¾ mile turn left into Lodge Lane, signposted to Keymer, go to the end of Lodge Lane then turn right on to Keymer Road, B2116. After the church on the LHS go past The Crescent and then take the next left into Silverdale. At the first bend/T-junction in Silverdale go left, past the ‘no entry’ signs to The Crescent – then after only 5 yards go immediately left again and you will see Lantern Cottage ahead, a long white house with a victorian lamp post. Please note that Lantern Cottage is not in the main part of The Crescent but tucked away behind. The sat nav will not take you to the correct place.
